29 August 2024 at 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. The Education and Digital Affairs Division of Khon Kaen University organized a workshop on ‘Cybersecurity for Social Media’ to provide knowledge about protecting social media user accounts and pages from cyber threats.
The training received overwhelming interest from students, faculty members, and university staff, as well as those involved in managing pages and online communities. The speaker, Dr. Kitt Tientanopajai , Assistant to the President for Digital Affairs, shared knowledge and techniques for effectively securing social media accounts, including methods to prevent and handle increasingly complex cyber threats in today’s digital landscape.
The topics covered in this event included methods for protecting user accounts, managing page security, and building confidence in a safer online community. Additionally, there were demonstrations of tools and steps to prevent hacking and data theft, allowing participants to learn practical and applicable techniques.
The event was held in the computer training room on the 5th floor of the Information Center Building, where participants engaged in discussions and shared experiences, gaining deep understanding about managing cyber threats on social media. The training was highly successful, aiming to enhance digital security for online communities and user accounts both within and beyond the university. The Education and Digital Affairs Division of Khon Kaen University is committed to continuously organizing such workshops to strengthen knowledge and understanding about technology usage and digital threat prevention for all users.
